Bayern Munich has paid tribute to their fallen legend, Sané, who was tragically killed in a car accident on Sunday night.

Sané, 26, had been a key player for the German giants since his arrival from Manchester City in 2017. He made over 400 appearances for Bayern and scored 39 goals during his time with the club.

The midfielder's death has left a huge void in the squad, particularly in the defense. However, the team is determined to continue on without him and will miss his leadership and experience.

In a statement released by the club,Bundesliga Tracking CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke said: "We are devastated by the loss of our beloved Sané. He was a true leader and a fantastic teammate, and he will be remembered fondly by all."

Sané's impact on the team was felt throughout the pitch, and many players expressed their condolences. Guardiola, Bayern's manager, said: "Sané was one of the best defenders I have ever coached, and his passing is a great loss for us. We will always remember his incredible skills and character."

The team will now focus on continuing to defend against other top teams in Europe and keep up their impressive form under Guardiola's guidance. They will also look forward to welcoming new talent to the squad, as they continue to build on their legacy.
