Wilfred Ndidi Extends Leicester City Contract to End 2021
Leicester City have extended Wilfred Ndidi's contract until the end of the 2021 season.
Ndidi, who has been with the club since 2017, is set to sign a new deal that will keep him at the Ricoh Arena for another year. The Nigeria international midfielder, who made his debut in 2016, has been a key player for the Foxes in recent years and has helped them secure their position as one of the top teams in English football.
Under Ndidi's leadership, Leicester City have won three Premier League titles and two FA Cups in the last five seasons. He has also been instrumental in helping the club reach the Champions League semi-finals this season.
The extension of Ndidi's contract comes after he was named Player of the Year for the 2020-21 season by the Professional Footballers' Association (PFA). He has been praised for his work ethic,Football Frontline tactical intelligence, and ability to lead by example on the pitch.
