Firmino passes for Al Ahli in 4-1 win, scoring twice in the shootout against Valencia
Liverpool's Firmino scored two goals in the shootout to help his team secure a 4-1 victory over Valencia in their Europa League quarter-final second leg on Wednesday night.
The Brazilian forward opened the scoring with a stunning strike from outside the box in the first half, before adding another late on to make it 2-0.
Valencia hit back in the final minutes through Raul De Tomas and then equalised in the dying seconds through Jordi Alba, but Firmino was on hand to score the winner in the shootout to seal Liverpool's passage into the semi-finals.
It was a remarkable performance by Firmino, who has been in fine form this season and has already scored six goals in all competitions for Liverpool.
